Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
this is brother Frank speaking to you from the International Mission Centre in Krefeld, Germany. We look back to a most blessed weekend where approximately eight hundred believers were gathered to hear the Word of God, right from Finland to Italy, from Romania to Britain, just the whole continent was present, all true believers who can make it come to be with us on the first weekend of every month.
This time we also had the Lord's Supper and in this connection I like or must mention about the Lord's Supper. If you read in Matthew chapter 26, if you read in Mark chapter 14, if you read in Luke chapter 22, the Lord took one bread, He blessed the bread, He broke it and He gave it to His disciples. Then, in 1 Corinthians chapter 10, verse 16 and 17, the apostle Paul referred to what and how our Lord did when He served the Lord's Supper. Also, in 1 Corinthians, chapter 11, from verse 23: one bread, one cup - that is the Bible doctrine, that is the way our Lord served... I do not call it communion because that is not scriptural - it is the Lord's Supper.
And, as I tried to say, beloved brothers and sisters, even brother Branham in Questions and Answers in August 1964 said it should be one bread baked by holy hands, it should be one cup. This is the apostolic teaching, this is what brother Branham taught. And therefore, we do it. We respect the Word of God, but my question is: Why do all people in the message around the world serve what they call communion with a a tray of 36 single glasses or whatever it might be? Why don't they use one bread? Why don't they go back to the Word of God? Why don't they respect the Word in this respect and do accordingly?
Why do I say this? I have to mention this: we take one cup as our Lord did, as the apostle Paul did, as brother Branham taught. Beloved, the time has come not to only speak about the message and messenger and have our own ways, no, the time has come to say very clearly what our Lord had to say in Matthew 25:10 - "They that were ready went in to the marriage and the door was closed." What was the ministry of brother Branham to do - to restore, to restore us back to the original foundation, to the original teachings of the apostles, that is the message of the hour. And therefore, beloved brothers and sisters, in 1933, the year I was born, our beloved brother Branham was told, from the supernatural light, when baptising in the Ohio river: "As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, you are sent with the message that will forerun the second coming of Christ." What must be accomplished with that message? God does not need your interpretation, God does not need my interpretation, but we all should believe and obey the Scripture and come back to the Bible pattern. The first and the last sermon must be the same, the first and the last baptism must be the same, the first and the last Lord's Supper must be the same. Please respect the Word of God. If you cannot respect the Word of God, please, please, have enough sense to understand that God cannot respect you.
If we go back to Abraham, in Genesis 18, Abraham believed God. In Genesis 22, Abraham obeyed God and then you go to James, where the apostle says that Abraham's faith was justified by the works. God makes promises and God fulfils promises, but we, as children of promise, must obey and do what the Lord has said. So the message of the hour is the holy Word of God addressed to us in its original form, revealed by the Holy Spirit. And, beloved, even the Word revealed must be taken back to the Word of God. Matthew 11: "No one knows who the Father is but the Son and who the Son is but the Father and except those to whom He will reveal it." It is all divine revelation. Matthew 16: "Flash and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven." Divine revelation all the way through. And Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, is the very revelation of God in the flesh - Emmanuel, God with us.
So we believe the Word of God and, by the Holy Spirit, this Word is revealed to us. But coming back, because we had the Lord's Supper, let me emphasise this again - we cannot have our own ways, our own teachings and, friends, let me say this in love: everything that was promised in the Old Testament is being fulfilled in the course of the New Testament. And we understand that the message of the hour must be the promised Word of God for this day and the promised Word must be the message - everything must be in harmony.
And as I mentioned, I am born in 1933, when the Lord Himself spoke to brother Branham that the message given to him would forerun the second coming. Many years have passed since brother Branham went to be with the Lord on my birthday, December 24, 1965. But since then, the true promised Word, the true message of the hour was taken to the ends of the Earth. And we are living at the last moments in the time of grace, our Lord is coming soon. Behold, the bridegroom cometh, and they that are ready will go in to the marriage and the door will be closed. When I started this ministry in 1966, I made the promise to the Lord that all who would hear His Word from my lips and believe the Word of God and obey that I would see them again in glory. Please believe, be restored, be prepared, and obey and together we shall see our Lord when He returns. Maranatha, our Lord come, the Spirit and the bride say: Come. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
God bless you and be with you. I hope you can join us the next first weekend this time when over nine hundred joined us from all over the Earth, listening to the Word of God in their own languages. God bless you and be with you in Jesus' holy name. Amen.
