Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,

this is brother Frank speaking to you from the International Mission Centre in Krefeld, Germany.

Today we look back on two things, one was the first weekend of the month where we had special meetings, absolutely great in the presence of God, people came from all over Europe and from different countries from overseas.

We are just so grateful to Almighty God for the respect that He has given unto us towards His Word. We are not only repeating what is written: “Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away”, but we love it, we like it, we know it is so.

Then we look back also to the ten-day trip to Israel where we saw, from one end to the other, the Biblical places, right from the Red Sea where Moses and the children of Israel had crossed and where God made history in those days with His people, fulfilling the promise he made to Abraham. Then seeing all the other places right around Sodom, going to the Dead Sea right up to En Gedi and also to the Sea of Galilee to see all the places where our Lord had been, preaching, healing, and proclaiming the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. We also went up to the Golan Heights, then to the beginning of the river Jordan, a very, very pleasant place where Jordan begins to give water to all of Israel. It is just wonderful to see those places. Then, of course, Jerusalem is very, very special, whether it is the Mount of Olives, Mount Sion, Mount Moria, the Temple Mountain, whether it is Getsemane, whether it is Golgotha, whether it is the Garden Tomb, whatever we saw, wherever we have been, our thoughts went back two thousand years ago when our Lord gave His life for us, shed His blood, redeemed us, placing as back as sons and daughters of God into our original position.

But dear friends, those places are wonderful but we must experience what God has done for us in Christ, it is not enough to see the empty tomb, we must meet the resurrected Christ.

The first ones were two disciples on the way to Emmaus and He spoke to them about the fulfilment of all Moses had said and written in the Psalms and also in the prophets. And then He opened their understanding to know the Scripture in its fulfilment. Brothers and sisters, dear friends, especially ministers of the Word of God, the same Jesus, the same Lord is with us today and through the message of the hour He speaks to us, sharing the revealed Word of God.

I had a great privilege in my lifetime, first to meet the Lord personally, to receive Him as my personal saviour, already in 1948, but then when I met William Branham, I met a man sent from God who was commissioned directly like the apostle Paul. And I could see the confirmation of God’s Word in the ministry of this man sent from God.

At the same time, if we look into what happened within the ranks of the message of the hour, many brothers have taken different directions, different teachings, and this should not be. I’d like to read, especially for the ministering brethren, from Galatians. Galatians is actually addressed firstly to us who preach the gospel. And here the apostle Paul has put a vow upon all who preach another gospel, even going as far as to say they are accursed. It is very good for all of us to read Galatians, chapter 1, chapter 2 and continue right to the end, to have the right understanding of what God meant. The seriousness to remain under the direct influence of the Holy Spirit, not to deviate from the Word, from the teachings but stay within the Word of God. Here, it says, in Galatians 1:10, “For do I now seek the favour of men, or of God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” This is the verse that I have chosen, or God has chosen for me. I never, in all my life, had a desire to please men, I wouldn’t know whom to please because there are so many different teachings and directions, so my decision is firm right from the beginning: to please God. And to please God, the preaching and teaching today must be the same as it was at the very beginning. And then the apostle Paul says that he did not receive the Word, the gospel, from man, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ – verse 12.

And now we are coming to the main point. Galatians, chapter 2: “Then fourteen years later I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them who were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.” Now, I do not know whether to smile or what reaction I should have or the brethren should have.

The apostle Paul, with his direct calling and commission, being sent by the resurrected Lord, 14 years later went up to Jerusalem to share his preaching and his teaching with the apostles who were together with the Lord. And then, making the statement to find out whether he had run in vain. Because if his gospel would not have been the same of the apostle Peter who preached the first sermon in Jerusalem, he would have run in vain. Brothers, especially ministers, take it to heart, do not be sure in yourself, everybody in every church, every pastor, every evangelist, everyone is sure of himself. But you have to be sure in the Word of God to be in the will of God. And the time has come that all ministering brothers, even within the message, come back and compare their teaching and preaching with the original teachings contained in this holy book. And as I said many times, the last sermon must be as the first was and the last baptism must be as the first was.

We shall try to be of service to you, beloved brethren, the world over it is our commission to share the message of the hour with all of God’s people right to the ends of the earth, to call out and get the bride of Christ ready for the second coming of our beloved Lord and Saviour.
