Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, this is brother Frank speaking to you from the International Mission Center in Krefeld, Germany. May the blessings of Almighty God rest upon you throughout this year 2018.
For us it is a special year because 60 years ago in 1958 we began to translate brother Branham's sermons into the German language. And by the grace of God we look back to the many, many years. For us it is just so great to have known the Lord and have come into connection with the man of God sent for our day and time with the final message before the return of Christ. So rejoice with us, 60 years have come and gone and by the grace of God I could share the precious Word of God in these past years with the believers in 165 countries, sharing what God has promised for this day.
And we look back to a most blessed weekend we had, over 1,200 people were gathered from many nations here in the mission center to hear the Word of God and to receive the blessings.
Especially when I shared Matthew 11 when our Lord spoke to the crowds in his day asking: “What were you going out to see?” You can read it here in verse 7: “What went ye out into the wilderness to see?” and then he says: “Did you go to see a reed shaken with the wind?” Why did you go out? What did you wish to see? A man dressed in purple or in kingly clothes? What did you go out to see? Why did you go out? Why did you go into the wilderness to the river Jordan? To hear the message of the hour, to hear the man sent from God, the promised prophet of Malachi chapter 3, verse 1: “I will send my messenger before my face to prepare my way before me.”
So those at the first coming of Christ who were part of what God was doing went out to hear the messenger, the man of God who was more than a prophet, but of course not more than a man. This is very important. Our Lord said “more than a prophet”. Why? Because all the prophets had spoken about the coming of the Redeemer. But John could say: “Behold, this is the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.” [Jn 1:29] And John baptized our Lord and Savior in the river Jordan, who said “we must do all righteousness” [Mt 3:15]. And then heaven opened and the Spirit of God came down with the testimony: “This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.” [v. 17]
So the prophets said that he would come and John could introduce him, could baptize Him. What a privilege, a man sent from God to baptize our Savior and then, if you read Luke 7, verse 30, the scribes and the teachers of that day rejected to be baptized by John, rejected the counsel of God.
Beloved brothers and sisters, I'm about to say something very, very serious. We know about the message and I'm glad to say I knew brother Branham personally for 10 years. And many times I gave my testimony whether it was in the meetings in Germany or in the USA, in his home, in his church, wherever it was, in Dallas, Texas, wherever, I just appreciate all the times that I could be together with brother Branham.
Today I just wish to show you something. Here you see, up till here, and you see a few lines here. This part is from the lips of William Branham and this part is from our American brothers. And I have to say this, I have to say this in the name of the Lord because I'm convinced that God stays with the original commission and not with the forged explanation or interpretation. If you read what brother Branham said about his direct commission, beloved, here we have it:
“As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, the message, the message that is given to you will be a forerunner of the second coming of Christ. Not that I would be the forerunner, but the message was to be the forerunner.”
This is February 9, 1959, from the lips of William Branham. And then if you look what is written in the books: “As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of the Lord, so are you sent to forerun His second coming.”
Beloved brothers and sisters, I cannot stand a lie, through all my life I believe the truth and the Word of God is the truth. And if the man of God himself says “not I” … he brought the message but then he said “not that I would forerun the second coming, but the message would forerun the second coming of Christ.”
We look back to many years since December 24, 1965. When our beloved brother was taken to glory, the earth had not heard about the message. Even after 1963 brother Branham made no international trip and before he only had evangelistic meetings in 12 different countries, but after his going to glory the message, the pure Word of God, the true Word of God, not interpretations, but the true Word of God that was promised for this day and brother Branham was the promised prophet of Malachi 4. Through his ministry and message the hearts of God's children were to be brought back to the apostolic fathers, back to the very beginning 2,000 years ago, to the same foundation, to the same teachings of the apostles.
And that's the promise our Lord repeated in Matthew 17:11 “Elijah truly shall first come and restore all things.” So brother Branham brought the message, but I cannot take 1,200 tapes in my suitcase and go from city to city, but I can take the Bible whereunto we were brought back. And then I have to be true to my calling. I have to do two things. I have to preach only what is written in the Word of God and I have to share with the people the message brother Branham brought to take us back to the Word. There are no two different things, the message comes from the Word and takes us back into the Word. If you take brother Branham’s sermons and close the Bible and put it aside, you are deceived and you deceive others.
So by the grace of God the commission the Lord gave me is to store in the food and on April 1, 1962, three times brother Branham mentioned that he was told to not make any trip in foreign countries, but to return to Jeffersonville and to store in the food.
The same Lord on April 2, 1962, I heard the voice of the Lord with these ears, to store in the food and to go from city to city to preach the Word.
And on December 3, 1962, brother Branham said: “Brother Frank, the food you are to put in store is the promised Word of God for this day and it's kept in the messages which are being taped.”
So by the grace of God I published brother Branham’s sermons and the Lord has put it upon my heart that, especially from the opening of the seven seals, every sermon was translated and then of course also from 1960, 1961 and 1962.
So by the grace of God I have done the two things worldwide in the past 55 years and I'm asking you: “What did you go out to see?” A man waving to this and that side, a man in a kingly dress? No! A man sent from God with the Word of God, with the promises for this day! And I tell you right now, beloved brothers and especially those who are in the Pentecostal movements, if you speak in tongues, if you prophesy, if you pray for the sick, beloved brother and preacher and evangelist and maybe TV celebrity, if you refuse now to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the door will be closed and you will knock and say “Open, Lord!” You may say on that day “Lord, did I not prophesy? Did I not preach? Did I not pray for the sick? Did I not do this and this?” and the Lord will say “Depart, depart from me, you doers of evil!” [Mt 7:22-23]
God wants obedience. This is the time of restoration to come back to the original teachings, to the foundation, one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Not to play religion to present yourself as some special person. Return to God, return to the Word of God! I say again, this is God's time of restoration, all the Bible doctrines about Godhead, baptism, Lord’s supper, all Bible teachings were restored. And in Bible days everybody was baptized into the name, not in titles, into the name of the Lord Jesus Christ - Acts 2, Acts 8, Acts 10, Acts 19, every person baptized in Bible days was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And if you preach and you believe and practice another gospel, you should read Galatians chapter 1, from 1 to 8. May God grant His grace. Whom went ye out to see? A man wavering? No, a man sent from God with the Word of God for this day. This is God's time for God's people to come back, to believe and to obey and be restored to God and to His holy Word. I thank the Lord for sending His servant and prophet, I thank the Lord for the precious and holy Word of God. The Lord bless you throughout this year and be with you in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.
