Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ, dear Friends, Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is Brother Frank speaking to you from the International Mission Center in Krefeld, Germany.
As you know, the Lord so led that we do have different stations sharing the Word of God all over the earth from one end to the other. We do believe that this is a special time with special possibilities, that have never been before like they are now. If we remember the days of our Lord, even the days of the apostles, or the days of the reformation, to go from one country to another, it was very difficult. And now we are in a time where within a few hours we are from one end to the other on this earth. Beloved, I can judge this better perhaps than anyone of you, dear Listeners.
How many times have I taken flights to all the countries on earth, altogether 155 countries in the past 50 years! I was half time at home every month, and the second half I was gone on the mission field to share the Word of God. Practically my life by the grace of God, by His choosing was spent for the Lord in the Kingdom of God. And this because of one special day, which was Monday, April the 2nd, 1962, when the Lord with a tremendous audible voice spoke to me saying, “My servant, your time for this city will soon be over. I will send you to other cities to preach My Word …” I have taken this commission seriously, and I can say, I have done all things according to the Word of the Lord. Even when the Lord said, “My servant, don’t establish local churches …”, I have not established a single local church anywhere on earth. I am cooperating with all the brothers in the different countries and cities, but I am not involving in local church affairs. I just come and go, I preach two or three sermons, and I go on to the next city and country. Also the last part our Lord said, “My servant, don’t publish a songbook, for it is a sign of a denomination”, and Friends, I have not done this. Everyone can do as they like, but I must stay with the commission the Lord gave me. And if you go to the Bible, every man of God received a direct commission at the moment of his calling. And every man of God did all things according to the Word commissioned to him. It was so with Moses, it was so with Noah, it was so with Abraham, it was so with Elijah, it was so with John the Baptist, it was so with every man sent from God with the Word of God.
Now, we are living at a very special time, near to the Return of our Lord, and the subject of the Second Coming of Christ has become very, very important to us, because the Scripture says in Matthew 25, verse 10, “They that were ready went in to the Marriage, and the door was closed.” Beloved, this ministry is ordained of God. It is connected to the last call before the Return of Christ. It is connected with the restoration of all things, like the Apostle Peter was writing in Acts, chapter 3, from verse 17, that Christ remains in heaven until the time comes when restitution, when restoration of all things will take place. And the God of heaven promised in the Old Testament in the Prophet Malachi – and by the way: in the Prophet Malachi the Lord God made two promises: one was fulfilled in John the Baptist’s ministry at the First Coming of Christ: “I will send My messenger before my face to prepare My way before Me.” And then, you can read it and check it in Matthew, in Mark, in Luke, in John, where the Scripture confirms the ministry of John the Baptist, having prepared a people for the Lord, having turned the hearts of the fathers, of the Old Testament believers, to the New Testament children. He was the man Luke 16:16 speaks of, “The law and the prophets were until John; since that time the kingdom of God is preached …” Beloved, whenever God did something special on earth there was a calling, there was a commission, there was a promise, which was fulfilled at that time.
We also shared in one of our messages about the term “today”, “Today when you hear His voice harden not your hearts.” And then we shared Luke, chapter 4, where our Lord read from the Prophet Isaiah, and then closed the book and said, “This day this scripture is fulfilled before you.” We are living in a time where Scripture is being fulfilled. At the First Coming of Christ even Psalms 2, verse 7 was fulfilled, “Thou art My son, today have I begotten thee.” The Word “today” does not speak of eternity. Eternity has no today and no tomorrow. But it is our day, the day of grace, the day of salvation. This is God’s time for God’s people!
Beloved, throughout the Old Testament period they waited for 4,000 years since the time of Adam, when God made the first promise about the Saviour to come through the woman to bruise the serpent’s head. They waited for the Lord and Saviour to come, and when He came, they were all found in their own interpretations, they were celebrating the feasts, they were singing the songs, but they missed the day of God’s visitation. Can you imagine: waiting for the Messiah, waiting for the Redeemer, waiting for the King, which was promised throughout the Old Testament, and then He came to His own and His own received Him not? But it’s in the same verse, “As many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God.”
So, there are always two groups: one rejects, and one receives. The same is in our time: one group will remain in all the traditional teachings: Baptists will remain Baptists; Methodists will remain Methodists; Lutherans will remain Lutherans; Anglicans will remain Anglicans; everyone will remain as they are, where they are. But this is a calling-out time. And 2 Corinthians, chapter 6, from verse 14, speaks about this time, “What has light to do with darkness? What has believer to do with unbelievers? Ye, My people, come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, Then I will receive you, and you shall be My sons and My daughters, and I will be your God.” So this is a calling-out time.
But, as I mentioned, we must recognise the promised Word for today. All over the world I emphasized: If there is no promise, you cannot have faith. Only if there is a promise your faith anchors, anchors into the promised Word of God. When God made the promise to Abraham, he believed, he believed what God said, what God promised, and he was convinced that God will fulfil His promise. God has taken responsibility to fulfil every promise.
But now your time has come: you have to believe that promise. First you have to believe the promise our Lord made in John, chapter 14. He made the promise, “I go to prepare the place. Then I will return, and I will take you to be where I am.” This is a promise. And if you go to 2 Corinthians, chapter 1, verse 20, there you can read, that all the promises God ever made are yea and Amen, through Jesus Christ by us. Every promise God made is connected with Jesus Christ, our Lord. Jesus Christ, our Lord, is Emmanuel, the very manifestation of God Almighty on earth. He could say in John 14, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” He was the great I am, right to Revelation, chapter 1 and right up to Revelation, chapter 21 and 22. He is Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, He that was, is and shall come.
Beloved, as I said, the main subject is the Return of Christ, our calling out, our restoration, our lining up with the Word of God. And I have to say this every time: We must return to the Bible pattern. You can only be in the will of God, if you are in the Word of God. You are only rightly baptised, if you are baptised in the way the Apostle Peter baptised, the Apostle Paul baptised, Philip baptised. Then you have the right baptism.
If I think about the first sprinkling: it was done in the year 337. When Constantine was on his deathbed, he called for the bishop to come and to baptise him. And so they could not carry him anywhere into any water, they brought some water, and for the first time, it’s recorded in Church History, that the man dipped his hand into the water and said, “… in the name of the Father”, dipped again and said, “in the name of the Son”, dipped again and said, “in the name of the Holy Ghost.” That was the first false baptism recorded in the Church History books. Today you can only press a few buttons, and you have it all before you.
So, I, as a man called from God, do I have to go back to a false baptism? And to be very honest: All of Christianity since the 4th century was born into a deceived Christianity. The doctrines of the apostles were long forgotten. Everything went its own way. Men stood there, having no call, no commission, hating the Jews, cursing the Jews, calling them “murderers of Christ” and “murderers of God”. All the “Church Fathers” were hating the Jews, you can read. For forty years I’ve studied Church History. It’s amazing that ministers even today don’t care to search the Scripture. They don’t care to search history. They just go by tradition, and everybody is satisfied, and all sing and all worship. And our Lord says in Mark, chapter 7, “In vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Please show me, if one person, one person, not two, not three, if one person was ever baptised by sprinkling “in the name of the Father, in the name of the Son, in the name of the Holy Ghost.”
Beloved, it’s very serious. All the wrong teachings have come up, and all people were misled, not only in the other religions, but also in Christianity. Everything was forged, everything was changed; nothing today in common Christianity is as it was at the beginning in the days of the apostles.
And now, please, don’t switch off. Since the time of Reformation God gave revival after revival after the 1,000 years of the rule of the Roman Church with the seven cruelest crusades, when millions were slaughtered because they did not kiss the crucifix. And, Brothers and Sisters, since the days of Reformation the Word of God was preached again, the Bible was opened, and there was revival after revival, deeper and deeper into the Word of God, closer and closer to what was at the very beginning in the days of the apostles. And then, about a little over 100 years ago was the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
But now, I say this with sadness in my heart: today we have 550 Million so-called “Pentecostal”, “charismatic” people. But are they in the ways of the apostles, or are they still scattered in different denominations? They are scattered in different denominations. Now, let me say this, and I speak in tongues since 1949, when I was baptised in the Holy Spirit: But if you go today, it’s actually not a speaking of another language – they just speak a few syllables, and then they say, “It’s the Spirit of God.” No, they do the speaking themselves. In the days of the apostles, on the Day of Pentecost, it was the Holy Spirit, giving them utterance. It was not learning, it was not speak after me, but it was the Holy Spirit infilling the heart, and then the infilling of the heart was manifested by speaking in another language. Today they are all deceived. And they think, they have the Holy Spirit.
If you have the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, and the Spirit of Truth will lead you into the Word of Truth. He will bring you back to the first pages of the Bible, back to Acts, chapter 1, back to Acts, chapter 2, to chapter 8, chapter 10, and, you will see, even right to chapter 19, that all believers in the beginning were baptised in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. No other baptism is recorded in the Word of God. In Matthew 28, our Lord said, “… baptising them in the name …” What is the Name in which God revealed Himself as our Father, in the Son and by the Holy Spirit? What is the New Testament Covenant name? By revelation of the Holy Spirit you understand. “You shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” So, back to the Word! Go from the commission to how the commission was carried out. You cannot just point to Matthew 28 or Mark 16 or Luke 24, you must go to the Book of Acts to see how the men of God carried out that commission.
Beloved, we must come to a close. May God be with you. May you understand that before the Second Coming of Christ all things must be put into the divine order again. All things must be restored. You must forsake your own ways, your own teachings and return to God and submit to His Word, and so be prepared for the promised Return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Beloved, we have small brochures, dealing with all the important Bible subjects. If you wish, just let us know, and we shall send them to you. This is the last message, the message of calling out, of preparation. May God be with you in a special way. And may also this small sermon be a blessing to you, and may the Holy Spirit be upon you to understand everything that was said the right way. I wish you God’s blessings and I would love to see you when the Lord returns and takes us to Glory. Untill then, God bless you in Jesus’ holy Name. Amen.
