Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is Brother Frank speaking to you from the International Mission Center in Krefeld, Germany.
We just love to share the precious Word of God with you, touching on the main points very, very important to believers, to those who respect the Word of God, who wish to be right with God, to believe as the Scripture says. We all know, we have now 349 different churches, denominations joined in the World Council of Churches. But we have only one God, one Bible, one Saviour, one eternal life. And we only have one doctrine for the New Testament Church and we have to make our decision, whether we are going to believe as the Scripture says, or whether we are going to follow some traditional teachings and practises which have been introduced in the course of the 2,000 year period.
My ministry is to please God, not to please anyone’s ears, but to respect God and to respect His Word. Therefore, I respect the four Gospels, every word from the first to the last. I respect the Book of Acts from the first to the last. I respect every single letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the local churches. I respect every single letter the Apostle Peter, or the Apostle James, or the Apostle Jude has written. I respect the 22 chapters of the Book of Revelation. And I respect it so much that I would not dare to alter, to explain, to change, but to believe precisely as the Scripture says. This refers to God.
I don’t believe in any council, in anything that was, let’s say in the course of history, introduced, like the teaching of 3 individual persons in the Godhead. I believe, there is one God, and this one God is Spirit, and He dwelled all through eternity by Himself in all the light and fullness of Spirit and life. And then, at the beginning of time He came forth from eternity into time and walked in the Garden of Eden. That was the manifested God walking in a visible form of appearance and creating Adam in His own image. And throughout the Old Testament God revealed Himself in various ways. But in the New Testament He revealed Himself as our Father in Heaven, in His only begotten Son, our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, on earth to redeem us, to bring us back, so that we are placed back again as sons and daughters of God into our original position.
Throughout the period of the Old Testament, throughout the 4,000 years from Adam to Christ not a single person spoke about a “Father in heaven”, not a single time did anyone address a Son of God in heaven. Not a single time do we find the term “triune God”, not a single time do we find the term “God the Son”, not a single time do we find the term “God the Holy Spirit”. These are things which were introduced in different councils, beginning with the Council of Nicea, 325, continuing 381, continuing 431 and so on.
I just mention this for you to understand my ministry. I cannot go back to what Arius said, or Athanasius said, or Hieronymus said. It simply doesn’t interest me. Why should I? But I must go back to what God said in His Word. I must go back to the prophets. I must go back to what our Lord taught. I must go back to what His ordained apostles were preaching and practising. So, please, don’t judge me from the point of your church. Please take God’s Word as the final authority, and then we stand on the same ground.
Now, in reference to the Return of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is one of the most important subjects of our time. There are many things we can speak about. We can speak about the fulfilment of Bible prophecies in the nations, in Israel, we can speak about many Bible subjects. As I said, we can speak about the Godhead, we can speak about Water Baptism, we can speak about many subjects. But the main subject is now the Return of Christ. And here we have the promise in John, chapter 14, where our Lord says, “I go to prepare the place. Then I will return … “ The word “return” is very important in that connection. If I leave my city, then some day I return. It’s not only a coming, it is a return. “I will return and take you to be where I am.” The Second Coming of Christ is the Return of our Lord and Saviour to take us home. First he came 2,000 years ago to save us, to pay the price, to shed His blood to redeem us, to bring us back to God and give us eternal life. Now He will come back to take us to Glory, as He promised.
And there are very many scriptures speaking about different comings, and there are different comings of our Lord. But there is only one Return of our Saviour to take the Bride Church home to Glory. And I shall share these scriptures with you today. It says in Matthew 25, “Behold, the Bridegroom cometh.” This is the key scripture. The “Saviour” is in connection with the saved. The “Healer” is in connection with those who receive healing. The “Judge” is in connection with those who will be judged. But the “Bridegroom” is in connection with the Bride. And it says in Revelation 19, verse 7, “… and His Bride has made herself ready.” And if you read on to chapter 21 and 22 in the Book of Revelation: “I will show you the Bride” – the Bride. So, the redeemed, the chosen ones, they make up the Bride, and they are the only ones who prepare for the Second Coming of Christ, for the Return of the Saviour to take the saved back home into the first resurrection. There are two resurrections: the first resurrection is before the Millennium starts, the second resurrection will be after the Millennium. And that is Revelation, chapter 20.
So, we are now speaking about the first resurrection, which will take place, when Christ returns. When He comes back, the dead in Christ will rise first, and we who are alive shall be changed, and together we shall be taken up to meet the Lord in the air, and then be with Him forever. That is 1 Thessalonians, chapter 4.
But now let us read a few scriptures, starting with the first one in 1 Thessalonians. 1 Thessalonians, and here we shall read from chapter 2, verse 19, “For what is our hope, or our joy, our crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?” Now, please be not offended, but the German translation in every scripture uses the word “Wiederkunft”, which means interpreted “return”. It’s not only a coming, it is a return, when Christ will come back.
And here we have the other problem: Martin Luther refused to use the “Vulgata” to translate from, because that was the Catholic version. He refused to take the “Vulgata” for his translation work. He went back to the “Septuaginta” and went back to the original manuscripts, using the original words. And I am going to read to you the scriptures, where the word “return” should be and not only the word “coming”, although we know, His coming will be His return to take us home.
But for better understanding, so that you will differentiate between the many different comings, let me give you one example: in Matthew 25, for instance. In Matthew 25 we read from verse 31, “When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory. And before Him shall be gathered all the nations; and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.” Here the Scripture speaks about “coming”, when the Son of Man shall come. But this is not His Return, this is His coming, when He will sit on the throne of His glory. Not the Bride is mentioned here, but the nations will be gathered before Him. I could show you the many different comings of our Lord, right to the coming, when He will put His feet on the Mount of Olives. There are different comings, but only one Return of our Lord, which, we understand, is the Second Coming of Christ.
Then we read in 1 Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse 15. 1 Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse 15, “For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming…” Here the German Bible says, “… unto His Return …” – “… unto His Return …”! This Bible says “… unto His coming … “ But we understand well that the Second Coming of Christ is the Return of Christ. I only mention these scriptures to give more clarity, so that you will understand, where the connection is to the Second Coming of Christ, and then the other scriptures in reference to the different comings.
Then it says in 1 Thessalonians, the 5th chapter, 1 Thessalonians, chapter 5, verse 23, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly, and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved – be preserved – blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Here again we have the word “… unto the return”. I emphasize: the Return is the Second Coming.
So, Beloved, the emphasis must be done and given to our preparation. To be in the will of God, we must be in the Word of God. And only if we are in the Word of God we can be in the will of God. Therefore we must emphasize those scriptures speaking about the Second Coming, about the Return of our Lord and Saviour. James put it into a wonderful term: James, chapter 1, and it says here … Well, we can directly go to chapter 5. In James, chapter 5, we read in verse 7, “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.” Here the word “return” is used, “… unto the return – unto the second coming of the Lord.” These are wonderful places in the Word of God. Even in 2 Peter, chapter 1, 2 Peter, chapter 1, it says here in verse 16, “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ …” Here again the word “the return”, the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. But anyone, even in other Bible editions, can understand what is meant: It’s not only a coming, but it’s the Second Coming of Christ promised to us, “I go to prepare the place. Then I will return and take you to be where I am.”
I noted a number of scriptures, which I could read to you. But now to the very important part. And I have to say this. Please receive it in the Name of the Lord: As there was a prophetic age at the First Coming of Christ, this is again a prophetic age. Bible prophecies are being fulfilled. And in our time God sent a prophetic ministry, God sent William Branham. You might have heard of him and his extraordinary ministry. And he was told on June 11th, 1933, “As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the First Coming of Christ, you are sent with a message that will forerun the Second Coming of Christ.” I must tell you this. If I don’t mention this to you, no one else will. And therefore God has used me in the past 50 years in 155 nations, and even today in many broadcasts we share the Word of God, the message of the hour, the restoration, the preparing, the getting ready to meet the Bridegroom, when He comes at the Second Coming of Christ.
And as we read, that we should be blameless in our soul, in our spirit, in our body. The redemption must be all over us and all in us. There must be a new life in our soul, our spirit must be put right, our body must be subject to the Word of God. We must live the Word of God – Christ in us, the hope of Glory. Not a religion, but the grace of God, to be brought back to where the believers were at the beginning. One Lord, one faith, one baptism. All where one heart and one soul, Beloved, not divided in many different fractions, but the Body of Christ, being united again by the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and in the Word of God. So this is the calling out time, the preparation time. We must get ready, for only those who wait for the Return of Christ will have part in the Second Coming, and only those will be part of the Bride of Christ to partake in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. May you be among this number, chosen by God Almighty, and the grace of God may rest upon you and be with you.
Hopefully you understood all things the right way. May God bless you and be with you in Jesus’ holy Name. Amen.
