Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This is Brother Frank speaking to you from the International Mission Center in Krefeld, Germany. It’s always a privilege to address God’s people with the message for our day and time. And Beloved, we do have the same subject: the Return of Christ, the fulfilment of Bible prophecies in our day. And this teaching prophetic ministry is to inform you about God’s plan of salvation, to introduce to you the promises God made for this day.

I am not judging, but there are so many activities as never before in all the churches, in all denominations with all the great evangelists and charismatic personalities. There are so many programmes being presented to the people at this time. My question is, What does God promise for our day? What did He say that should happen before He would return? Beloved Brothers and Sisters, we do have Matthew 24 as a very special chapter, where our Lord repeatedly speaks about those who would deceive many; speaking about false prophets, about false Christs, doing great signs, great wonders, saying, ‘Christ is here and Christ is there.’ And then we are reminded about the promise that God would send a prophet; not many, but one. One prophet is enough – someone that God can speak through, like the Old Testament prophets: It was enough to have one Noah, one Abraham, one Moses, one Elisha or Elijah and so forth – always one, used of God, being a mouthpiece of God, having the Thus saith the Lord for the people.

Looking into what we are told in Luke, chapter 1, this man says here in verse 3, “It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first to write unto thee …”“… having had perfect understanding …” Is that not a bit too much for a human being to claim to have had perfect understanding of what happened at the first coming of Christ? But they were eye-witnesses, they were ear-witnesses, they saw the perfect ministry of our Lord. They saw scripture after scripture being fulfilled. And the grace of God with them was to have had perfect understanding of what God did in their time according to His Word.

And usually I say it all over the earth, that the interpretations in the days of our Lord kept the people from seeing Bible prophecies being fulfilled. Can you imagine for one moment, beloved Brothers and Sisters, that Israel was waiting for 4,000 years, expecting the Messiah to come to bring redemption, to give deliverance, to give them eternal life? And then He came to His own, and His own received Him not, just because the scribes and the teachers had misled them, explaining, interpreting Bible prophecy? And then the whole nation missed God’s day of visitation. It’s unbelievable! Who can comprehend that the Lord of Glory Himself would come down, be man among man, and God’s Word being fulfilled, and yet, they did not recognise what God was doing in their day!

But please don’t stop with judging God’s people at the first coming of Christ. What about our time? Are not all churches and denominations found in their own programmes? Does not everybody have their own explanations, interpretations and expectations? Where is the Word of God being recognised today? Where are the promises of the Almighty believed in our time? Now, for instance, if we read in Romans, chapter 8, verse 14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Who is led of the Spirit of God today? The Spirit always leads into the Word of God, especially into the promises God made. The main promise to us is found in Malachi, chapter 4, and we have to say this in every sermon, wherever I preach on earth. I just returned from meetings in four countries in West Africa. The largest meeting people came to hear God’s Word, the attendance was between nine and ten thousand. We saw great and mighty things God has done, and also the spiritual hunger to hear the true Word of God was obvious.

Beloved Friends, coming back to what we read in Luke, chapter 1, having had perfect understanding of what God did at the first coming of Christ. Beloved, in 1 Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 6, we read, “However, we speak wisdom among them that are perfect …” Wisdom among them that are perfect! “… yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nothing; but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before time began to our glory …”

Dear Friends, when we listen to Brother Branham’s sermons, then we come to understand that he was a man sent from God with the Word of God, with a direct call and commission to the ministry. And let me tell you this, whether you heard about it before or not, but among all the many great world-renowned evangelists it was William Branham who received a direct call and commission. He could give the day and the hour when the Lord had appeared to him and spoken to him, like he would refer to June 11th, 1933, when he was told, “As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, you are sent with a message that will forerun the second coming of Christ.” Or when you think about May 7th, 1946 at about 11.00 p.m., when the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, the supernatural light entering the room where Brother Branham was. And the Angel stepped down in that light, his feet touching the floor, and then speaking to Brother Branham, telling him about his commission, saying, “As Moses was given two signs, you are given two signs”, explaining the ministry, the special gift that he received and to bring the message of the hour.

Beloved Friends, I must mention these things. I am not a charismatic personality, I am not a special person, but I do have a divine call and I, before I met Brother Branham, before I knew Brother Branham I knew the Lord as my Saviour, I knew the Lord in the power of His resurrection, I had experienced full salvation with the blessings of God as on the day of Pentecost. But then, of course, as I came to know Brother Branham and his ministry, we became friends since that time. There is something going on on the face of the earth: the last call, the last message. And I always say this: Don’t miss the day of God’s visitation.

Coming to the point about the second coming of Christ, the return of Christ: Beloved Brothers and Sisters, this is our hope, this is our promise. The Lord said in John 14, “I go to prepare the place; then I will return and take you to be where I am.” Then we do have the many, many scriptures which do speak about His direct coming. And, Friends, the coming of the Lord will not be a process that stretches over days and weeks and months or years – it will be an event which happens at the same day, at the same time. We just need to search the Scriptures.

We don’t know about the short space of time where we expect God to do something very, very special. Things which have never happened on the face of the earth are going to take place just in that short space of time, when the Lord Himself will stand up and complete His work of redemption, as He finished His work of creation. You can read it in Isaiah 28, you can read it in Romans, chapter 9, verse 27-28. You can read it in different places in the Scriptures. But, Friends, right now is the preparation time for the things which God will finally do in the midst of those who were called out by this last message, before the return of Christ takes place. We referred to the promises many times. I don’t need to repeat each time.

But, Friends, it must be said over and again: the main promise for our day is in Malachi, chapter 4, that God would send the Prophet Elijah, before the great and dreadful Day of the Lord comes. And then, if you go to Luke, chapter 1, where we have the ministry of John the Baptist just put before our very eyes. He was to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children (Luke 1:16-17). But now the hearts of God’s children are to be turned back to the apostolic fathers, back to the beginning, back to the teachings and preachings which were at the very beginning of the New Testament church, calling God’s people out of all confusion, out of all interpretations, out of all our own ways, calling us back to God and to His Word. And, Friends, this is very important to know and to realise: we can only be sanctified in the will of God according to the Word of God. That’s why the Scripture says in Hebrews, chapter 10, verse 10, that through one sacrifice those who obey the Lord are sanctified in His will just by one sacrifice. It’s not enough to say, “I believe in Jesus Christ.” You must be found personally in the will of God according to His promised Word for this day!

And, Friends, if our Lord would not have confirmed the promise from the Old Testament in Matthew 17, verse 11, that truly Elijah first comes to restore all things – if that would not be written in the Holy Scriptures I would not refer to it. But because it’s written in God’s Word and because our Lord confirmed the promise from the Old Testament, after the ministry of John the Baptist was finished, and then in the next two verses our Lord spoke about of John the Baptist’s ministry which had already been done, but at the same time referred in the future tense that Elijah truly would come to restore all things. And then, if you go to Mark and to Luke, the chapters speak about the same ministry that was promised in the Old Testament.

And, Friends, I am about to tell you that the Elijah promised for this day has come and gone and everybody did with him as they liked. Even the greatest evangelists who received their ministry and inspiration in the first revival wave in the 1940ies, it all happened in one of Brother Branham’s meetings, when they received their inspiration to start their own ministries. Appreciating and speaking about the great ministry God has given in our time through William Branham, at the same time claiming that his teachings were wrong. Saying in the same sentence that he was a confirmed prophet of God and then – comma – in the next part of the sentence, “… but he was wrong in his teachings”. Friends, how can a man of God, a prophet of God be wrong, if he teaches what the Bible teaches, if he says what the Bible says, if he baptises as the apostles baptised. Friends, here we have a very, very critical point. The question is: What does the Bible teach about the Godhead, about Water Baptism, about the Lord’s Supper? What are the Bible teachings?

And, Friends, I have to say this: The Bible does not speak about a three-person God, it only speaks about God revealing Himself as our Father in heaven, in His only begotten Son on earth, living in us by the Holy Ghost – God above us, God with us, God in us! The same applies to baptism. When our Lord said, “… baptising them into the Name …”, I must know the name first, before I can administer baptism. There is only one name, and God Himself as our Father revealed His holy Name – “Hallowed be Thy Name!” – the New Testament covenant Name: the Lord Jesus Christ. And therefore, all since the day of Pentecost were baptised in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Beloved Friends, do we have perfect understanding of the perfect will of God, of the perfect promises of God? Do we agree with God and His precious Word? Or do we walk on in our own ways, in our own inherited teachings? Or do we return to the Lord? Are our hearts returned to the Word of God, to God? Dear Friends, may God bless you, may He be with you, may He grant you perfect understanding of His promises, of the fulfilment thereof, of His ways, of the teachings – of everything that now is happening in the Kingdom of God, in the complete and full restoration of all things before Christ returns. May God bless you. May He be with you. And I say this again in love: Receive God’s promised Word for this day and have part in what God is doing right now! In Jesus’ holy Name. Amen.
